These beads were made using a technique called lampworking. This involves heating rods of glass in a flame, and then carefully building up the bead shape using a stainless steel rod.
These beads have three different but complementary glasses swirled around and then the glass is persuaded into a round bead.
The beads are then annealed in the kiln for around 10 hours. After a final clean the beads are then matched with Tibetan silver beads and Swarovski crystals to create the necklace.
