LARGE TREE - SPRING

This picture is made directly on a sheet of glass using a combination of glass powder, frit (crushed glass) and glassline pens.

There are at least two firings for the picture allowing me to build up a natural looking tree with its branches, before applying layers of frit for the leaves.

The colours for the leaves are a blend of between 3 and 5 different colours of glass.

The picture is approximately 24cm tall by 30cm wide.
