BATIK DISH OR COASTER WORKSHOP
The Batik style dish or coaster workshop introduces the ideas around layering colours, as well as design, glass reactions and planning.
You will start by deciding your colours and the design of your dish or set of coasters, check your chosen colours for reactions between the glass, and then carefully layer up your design onto the glass.
The class uses sheet coloured glass, glass powder and frit (crushed glass).
The workshop is suitable for beginners although some experience with working with glass powders will be useful.
