These beads were made using a technique called lampworking. This involves heating rods of glass in a flame, and then carefully building up the bead shape using a stainless steel rod.
These beads have a core of coloured glass with a set of complementary colours being used to create the beads for the whole bracelet.
The beads are then annealed in the kiln for around 10 hours. After annealing the
beads are then etched to give the matt surface finish. After a final clean the beads
are then matched with matt spaced beads and silver bi-
