These beads were made using a technique called lampworking. This involves heating rods of glass in a flame, and then carefully building up the bead shape using a stainless steel rod.
These beads have a core of ivory glass, around which silver thread has been worked. The silver reacts with the ivory glass creating the mottled effect.
A central flat bead creates a focal point for the bracelet.
The beads are then annealed in the kiln for around 10 hours, before being cleaned and strung alongside smaller spacer beads,
