WAVY SNOWMEN AND TREES WORKSHOP

These lovely Christmas standup designs are created by applying frit (crushed glass) onto sheet glass (generally white or clear) and then firing the finished design in the kiln.

With the workshop you will be given a rectangle of glass for you to use as the background for your design. You will also be given instruction in what frit is, how to apply it to your design, and help with designs and ideas. For the trees a mix of four glass colours is used to give a more natural look to the trees.

The class uses sheet glass, frit (crushed glass) and stringer. It also introduces slumping of the fused glass.

The workshop is suitable for beginners.
